How to Find Us
We are located near the heart of Edmonton, at the south end of the University Farm on the University of Alberta’s South Campus. If you are driving, take 60 Ave into the University Farm and turn left at the T-intersection with 118 St. Taking public transit? The South Campus LRT station is a 15 minute walk away. We are also close to bike and foot paths, and many people walk or cycle to the Garden.
Our Growing Season
We begin planting the Garden in the spring after the danger of frost has passed. The first market usually opens around the end of June, when our earliest produce is ready for harvest. We hold markets twice a week throughout the summer and into the fall until the Thanksgiving long weekend in October, weather permitting.
Regular Market Hours
We are closed for the season. See you in 2024!
Saturday: 11:00 am to 1:00 pm
Tuesday: 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm
Note that our hours change slightly as days become shorter. Please check our current market times in the Produce Available updates before heading out to the Garden.
